Who are we?

MedPro are part of the Berkshire Hathaway family, a name known around the world, and one we’re proud to be a part of. MedPro was created following the success of US market leaders; MedPro Group.

MedPro Group was founded in 1899, and was the first company to offer malpractice insurance in the U.S. Today, it protects over a quarter million healthcare providers in the US.

Outside of the US, MedPro offer malpractice insurance underwritten by different Berkshire Hathaway sister companies to the healthcare community in geographies around the world. Our international team consists of expert underwriters, claims specialists, risk management professionals and a host of other skilled professionals based in London, Manchester, Lyon and Dublin.
